In 2004 researcher Alice Srackangast shared with me some wonderful pictures from her family photo collection. With her permission I am placing them on the website. These photos come from a photo album that belonged to Selma Kurth, wife of John Henry Biesemeier. JH Biesemeier was born in 1864, the son of Henry Biesemeier and Louise Niemeier. He was married to Selma Marie Elise Kurth on the 15th of February 1900 in Lena Stephenson county Illinois. The photos on this page have not been identified. They could be members of the Biesemeier or Kurth families. Some may be distant cousins or friends. Most of the photos were taken in Stephenson county Illinois, but there is one taken in Clarksville Missouri. Any help in identifying these photos would be appreciated.
