Henry Murry and Kate Hancock were the parents of James Murry, Beulah Murry and Byron Murry. They lived in Missouri before going to Idaho. Their daughter Ora Murray, died at Kellog, Idaho at the age of seven years. They resided in the Northwest five years and then moved to Nowata, Oklahoma about the year 1907. Katie was a victim of disease, beginning with glaucoma which was followed with pain and a serious operation which removed her left eye and a glass eye was inserted. She died in Nowata, Ok, Saturday 7 Dec 1912, leaving a daughter Beulah and sons, Byron and Jim. She [Kate Hancock Murry] was buried in Nowata Oklahoma Cemetery. Beulah and Byron Murray came to Missouri with their grandparents, Dick and Betty Hancock and Aunt Julia Redman and stayed in their homes. Beulah enrolled in the Sunny Side Rural School in 1913 when Mary Hansell was teacher. In the summer of 1913 they went to the home of an aunt, Mag Garrett in Oklahoma City, where she [Beulah Murry] grew to womanhood. She married Leon Brown and resided in Hollywood California where she died 27 Sep 1962. She had a daughter June Brown Stevens and two grandchildren, Wendy and Larry Stevens.
